The Turbo 400 in my '49 hunts between 2nd & 3rd around 30-35 mph, never did it before, only changes are a new cam, and yup, the car sat for a couple of years. Plenty of fluid, and otherwise shifts fine. Any ideas are appreciated.
first check the vacuum hose for leaks and oil inside (oil means the modulator is leaking, and needs replacement).
