Tucson Dragway Reunion

The Tucson Dragway Reunion will be on May 17 & 18th. Had a great time with lots of cool stuff runnin and in the car show last year. Here's a link to their website for this years event.

I will be there just not sure if I am driving the coupe down or the daily.

 

Going to try and make it out there. Had a blast the last time I was r=there.

I was supposed to ride down with Nick Flores, but in talking to him last night it's looking a bit shaky at this point. We'll see.

 

Maybe we should have meet up and caravan down all together.

 

It's the same weekend as the season opening SCTA meet at El Mirage, so I can't make it to this one. Rats!

 

I'm ready for a drag strip 'fix' now that the valley has none.

 

I'll be going down mid day Friday to help set up camp for the Inliners group.

say hi to my dad,tryin out new motor.did not get mine finished next year for sure.

 

Not sure if I can make it this year as I have a commitment to be at Barona Drag Strip that morning. Still, we are going to try to attend both. Barona opens at 6am and the tucson race 1st round is around 6pm. It is 6 hours between strips. hmmmm We'll see.

I'd be there but I have some family issues to handle this weekend. Dave and the boys will make up for my absence with some rad toys. The Scrambler, Bob Blake's V-16 hot rod, The Duesenberg, and Bryan's '36 are all on their way down. Have fun and please get plenty of pics for me guys!
