  10. I too lost my shop to a fire about 6 years ago. Those pictures look entirely too familiar.

I know that most is a total loss, but can any of it be saved? can those motors be saved? the truck cab? any of it or is it all just scrap weight?

That is something that you wouldnt wish on enemies. Best of luck - With friends like those pictured, I am sure it will be better then before.

You can't imagine a worst thing to happen to your shop. Good to see that plenty of folks helped clean up the place, at least you don't have to stare at the mess for too long. Hope all turns out good in the end.

Fire scares the crap outta me and I really think it sucks for anyone to lose their garage, cars and equipment. But I just have to ask, how did the fire start ? heater, electrical or unknown and besides being careful with combustibles any ideas to avoid having one in my shop. Best wishes for great deals and better stuff than you had before.

The fire started in a wall in the shop in the wiring. Must have been pretty obvious to the experts, Fire Dept, Fire Marshall and Ins. Investigator all agreed. The same crew will be ready for the rebuild this spring too, quite likely more.

Hard to look at and harder yet to think about. For some reason, I worry about fire everyday. Don't know if I worry too much, or have a premonition. Hopefully the former...

  30. I'm sorry to hear about this, man hang tough you have a fantastic group of mates there to help you. Looks like the sort of people you can lean on, don't hesitate to do that too when you need too.
I know what it's like too loose everything, but when you have to sift through the debris of your life? I think it was easier for simply come home to an empty house, I lost everything twice, by fire once and once by theft.
Like I said, don't hesitate to lean on a mate!! We all need that some time.
