Makes you sick in the stomach just looking at it.
Wow. You guys moved a lot of stuff in no time at all!!!!! Time to rebuild! Good luck Tuck.
Man that sucks! Its hard to look at. Hope all goes well with the rebuild.
Yea I can't even begin to imagine!
What's his plans for a new shop?
My worst nightmare!! Best wishes Tuck.
Devastating, how about some pictures of it in all its glory? Or was that already a post I didn't see.
It can happen to any of us...... Wish I could do more to help.
X's A million
I too lost my shop to a fire about 6 years ago. Those pictures look entirely too familiar.
Good Luck Tuck and Hopefully you are back on your feet soon.
Just building a shop recently, this crosses my mind all the time. Good luck with the rebuild and future projects!
I know that most is a total loss, but can any of it be saved? can those motors be saved? the truck cab? any of it or is it all just scrap weight?
That is something that you wouldnt wish on enemies. Best of luck - With friends like those pictured, I am sure it will be better then before.
I can't believe the devastation, gives me the shakes. Good luck Tuck, you'll bring it back.
That really sucks. I'm sorry Tuck.
You can't imagine a worst thing to happen to your shop. Good to see that plenty of folks helped clean up the place, at least you don't have to stare at the mess for too long. Hope all turns out good in the end.
Speechless !!! Man that SUCKS !
same here....brings back some bad memories
Enough to make a grown man cry.
Fire scares the crap outta me and I really think it sucks for anyone to lose their garage, cars and equipment. But I just have to ask, how did the fire start ? heater, electrical or unknown and besides being careful with combustibles any ideas to avoid having one in my shop. Best wishes for great deals and better stuff than you had before.
That shit, good Luck rebuilding
What was the O&C? electrical?
I look at them just after the fire (fire investigator) ....but the clean up is tough....
I am sick......
But what a great bunch to give a hand in the clean up!!
Thanx for sharing your pics.
The fire started in a wall in the shop in the wiring. Must have been pretty obvious to the experts, Fire Dept, Fire Marshall and Ins. Investigator all agreed. The same crew will be ready for the rebuild this spring too, quite likely more.
Hard to look at and harder yet to think about. For some reason, I worry about fire everyday. Don't know if I worry too much, or have a premonition. Hopefully the former...
Workin on it
That sucks! I don't know Tuck, but my heart goes out to him!
been cleaning up in my shop moving gas and oil barrels got to weld tomorrow and dont like it
atleast do it in morning its worse to weld and leave
way too many combustibles in a shop to be comfortable
working on a car on stands you cant even get them out the door
man my worst nightmare next to theft.take care and hang in there.
Here's a link to a couple pics of the shop in its glory.
I'm sorry to hear about this, man hang tough you have a fantastic group of mates there to help you. Looks like the sort of people you can lean on, don't hesitate to do that too when you need too.
I know what it's like too loose everything, but when you have to sift through the debris of your life? I think it was easier for simply come home to an empty house, I lost everything twice, by fire once and once by theft.
Like I said, don't hesitate to lean on a mate!! We all need that some time.
