History Trying to ID a hood ornament or radiator cap?

    Trying to ID this for a friend. Very well may be after market but not sure. Says Jarvis 1/4 20 on bottom. I know Jarvis made radiator caps but can't find this one anywhere. He has had it for about 40 years.

    Gorgeous! Might be 1/4 20 is the mounting bolt size? Looks about right.

    Wow, your buddy made out pretty good. That, or he has a pretty valuable paper weight.

    He thought it was a Pakard ornament when he bought years ago.

    Looks to be very different than the one on ebay, very beautiful nonetheless.
