My 64 F-100 Shortbox flletside, 292 Y block and 3 on the tree...
Mine, I've owned it 47 years bought it when I was 13 and drove it to HighSchool.
Very cool truck!
You need to give another kid a shot at owning it for 47 years, My boy says he will trade you our ( ok his, he has already claimed it)64 for yours, wink wink. So far your truck is the only thing he said he would trade for.. I think for a 13 year old he has a good eye...I hope in 47 years he still has either our 64 or your truck....lol Killer truck...
Pile of awesomeness!!
I have been working on it for the last couple of years. Have not driven it since i was 18. I took it apart when I was 18, had an Olds drive train and I decided to change it. Wife and kids, no money, no time, no finish truck. Just now getting it going again hope I have a few years left of good health to enjoy it. Thanks for the kind comments.
heres my wifes 62 unibody with a fresh 302 and a c4 auto
Well Nick I hope you get it going soon... I love it.. If you ever decide to change directions and just drive a prius and want to get rid of it, let me know...lol... I will give it a good home for the next 47 years... Where in Ohio are you... If close to Cincinnati I would love to check it out.... Ryan
That's a beauty! Please post many more pics of it?
latest project...1961 Dodge D100 "Craftsman Truck Barnfind"
Not a real barnfind...just built it to look like one. Camaro stub, Late model stock car wide five hubs, and stock car suspension,15X10 aluminum wide 5 wheels, Frankland quick change, full roll cage, 360 Mopar engine, A833 O/D transmission
thats gotta be a record, how long you've owned it,
i wonder if there is a thread for the longest owned car or truck...
I was working in a restaurant washing dishes for .75 an hour, mowed lawns, anything I could to make some money to buy the truck from a local here in town for 400.oo in 1964. I'm sure its no record, but it has been quite a while for sure.
flyingfarley; great looking dodge. Have wanted to build an international with the same concept for awhile. Ditch the automatic though, that thing needs a manual. Most do.
Ya Nick, your truck would be cool if you built it yesterday, but having all these years makes it ten times cooler, to me anyway. Very nice, just drive it!
47 years is unbelieveable, thats dedication.. I LOVE IT!..
My 37 Ford I picked up after 6 years after the initial offer to buy the truck. The stars lined up and I got a call.
Great looking trucks guys!
I think I am in love.
***Edited to add***
With the truck, haha! I tried to post a bigger pic of it and it came out bigger than the screen. So I figured it best to leave it out.
I totally agree. What a jewel!
I have a disease.
This a rather neat photo. This is me standing by my truck as a 16 year old in 1967 out in front of the Marathon Gas Station that I used to work at, and the other picture is me as a 60 year man,( and 75lbs heavier) standing by the same truck in my driveway. That Marathon station is still there and when I get the truck done I am going to drive it down there and take that same picture again. Truck looks different, chopped 2 " dropped axle, filled roof, etc.
Nicko that avator pic of your truck is awesome what a bitchin truck!!!
Too god damn cool
That is cool, do you have any more pictures?
And the '32 grille really works great on that truck. Such an awesome truck and vibe! I love it.
