wife's '50 Chevy truck - sold when moved earlier this year
My truck is coming along now. Likely about how she'll look for a while.
Can't recall if I posted my F100 in this thread or not.
The dice are gone
Here’s Mine. Not real cool at the moment, as it’s been languishing in a barn for quite a while.
made from a four door, or tudor, NO DOUBT !!
pretty cool tho, any shots from back?
do you have clean title?
I believe it’s made from a two door, but I could be wrong. It was last registered as a pickup in Arizona. Those are the only two I have right now.
We have always liked old trucks. When we see them on a TV show, it brings back memories of those early days of hot rodding. Of course the first truck I saw and ride in was a custom 55-56 Ford that was a show quality build that was used for everyday driving. Jump up many years later and these two trucks have been given accessories to make them fall into the mild custom class or cool truck division of any show. They are still daily drivers, but can be entered in any style of car show.
The black 52 Ford truck had an unusual stained wood bed that was totally different than most trucks. A wine color style of wood with chrome strips. The other truck (40 Ford )had the standard light wood with black metal strips and added a cool antique trunk to increase storage space for those long distance trips. It was the stance that drew my eye while walking down this row of hot rods and trucks. “Ground hugging with attitude…”
But, they both ended up at the So Cal, local, Price Transfer Automobilia, Lions Dragstrip opening event in 2017. These trucks are clean enough for car shows. But, we would love driving around in these two pick up trucks, doing normal home project purchases and deliveries in both of them. “Flowers for Algernon?” No, just flowers for the Naki family… including mulch and other dry weather succulents.
That "2 door" barn-find pickup looks ready to go to me!

Finally got to change my avatar from the prior primed to the new blue. Thanks to Frank M and Keith S for the help in the last 6 months so it could be mostly finished.
Owned by the same guy 45 years
This one owned by same guy for 54 years, been redone 3 times
I've posted my project truck here many times, but finally it's all one color.
I've heard an old saying many times,"you never really finish body work, you just get to a point and quit".
Probably the first time I saw the '37 , thinking "I need to own this"
Move on 5 years , it is in my shed now .
'41 Ford should be up For Sale in near future - Grass Valley, CA
