Just finished up this 46 for a customer. 327/200r4, Sids Drop axle, lowering blocks in the rear, disc brakes up front and gas tank relocated underneath the bed. This was a 9 month budget build

i'm pretty sure CG's truck has mopar(volare, 5th ave, etc) clip under the front. good choice if you want low. i've talked to a coupla guys that asked about doing them in slick side trucks. told them i think they are a good choice but i would suggest doing a full rebuild on it when doing as some of the replacement parts have gotten harder to source the last 10 years or so. with everything in good shape it's a great handling set up. and you can fine tune height since it's adjustable via the torsion bars....ken....

Tuff truck, tuff picture. Maybe a nice deep burgundy gloss job might give it some class.

USAC 02.jpg Wow! What an awesome tow rig dragsled. I also have a '46 Ford that will be used for hauling around my champ car.

Make sure that thing is as solid as an anvil and safe for hauling before setting out.

Love the Fiat by the way...

I need some of those Sombrero hubcaps. Trouble is I need 16s in the back and 15s in front.

Thanks Great looking 46, Mines pretty solid last year it was still an 89 F250 Thought the truck would look cooler with an 47 cab on it,, Lots of work tho, but well worth it in the end,, Tim Jones

My new daily driver. Adding a/c and a few other comfort mods (seat belts, tilt column, power steering) for the Central Texas heat and traffic. I also replaced those skinny 4" wide wheels and it drives MUCH better.

    Now I have 2 binders...LOL 1961 B100

Plans for now are to get it a few inches lower and change the wheel color. Also ditch the White Letters!!!!

What is the best color for a wheel on a red truck?
