  4. I got this 62 from a buddy of mine. He was burned out on the build and I had a 71 K20 I seldom drove ... so after ages of talking about it, we traded =)

I think I drove it once several years ago, at least my buddy said I did, I just dont remember it.

I posted a pic of it over in the photoshop area and mrjynx was kind enough to do a version that sounded good to me. A mild early 60s look.

So this was all before I took possession of the truck. It has very healthy 60 over 350 (sorry Ford diehard guys). It is really a hot rod truck, loud and fast ... not a mild 60s custom.

I may have to rethink the style I want to go.

Flew in and collected the truck a couple of weeks ago & took a week to road test it for 700 miles till I got home. A few minor issues to sort & then onto some soundproofing & upholstery, and maybe in 12 moths time it can get some shiny paint on it.

"Part of the company’s (ICON)Reformer series of one-off vehicles, the four-door pickup is being rebuilt on a heavy duty Dodge 3500 platform powered by a specially prepared 5.9-liter Cummins diesel engine from Banks Power that puts out 975 lb-ft of torque and a custom exhaust braking system to reel it in. A 4.5-inch Baja 1000 Chase lift kit and a set of black Hutchinson rims should give it an appropriately menacing stance.
