  11. One night a few months ago, me and my honey were enjoying some tequila and the engine hoist. She asked "wheres that engine you started up on the stand, you remember- it was shaking the building! what did you do with that?" I said "oh thats the 392 hemi and its sitting under the bench." So she says shouldn't that be in a car? Go find one that needs a hemi! I love her !!!

  12. There is not a doubt in my mind that you will get a lot of guys asking does your wife have a sister! :D HRP

  13. I get that a lot

  14. Them ETs looked a lot better than the sawhorse!

  17. It's a hot rod !!! :) can't you tell?
I need to correct a few things, namely the chassis.
We've nicknamed it Elvis. I think It's cool as hell and you'll probably not see another one like it. That's all I'm saying till I get some of this to a more traditional level.

  20. I'm thinking maybe a dodge double dip axle i have here with a 32 crossmember.
Maybe spring behind or move the crossmember forward.

Oh and all this jockeying around gave me more room for the hemi, maybe just a dizzy tunnel will be needed.

  21. image.jpg I had to swap the chassis, realign the grill body lines, channel the ass end 2", stand the grill back to the correct angle, but now I need a new hood because that one was custom made to accommodate the goofy stuff.

  28. Got the engine and Trans out of Priscilla and onto Elvis's former chassis.
Sweet little 350/350 combo. Tomorrow we will get the radiator, fuel, tank, battery on this chassis get her started and put it up for sale as a nearly complete ready for a body running platform.
Maybe ill hunt a body for it too while I'm waiting for a buyer.

  30. Busy week, but today was a lot of screwing around making spring mounts for the dodge axle. Not much to show 8 little pieces that would easily fit in your pocket - cut sanded, rounded and polished. My Plan for tomorrow is to get them fit and welded to the axle.
