Already a couple of threads started on this event, I was just going to plug my photos in to one of them, but I didn't want to intrude on somebody else's thread with all my stuff. So if the mod's want to combine the threads into 1, that's OK with me. First of all I just wanted to say the event was awesome, we truly enjoyed it. The wife and I went up on Friday afternoon as soon as I could get away from work, we got there just as the sun started to go down, and we started getting some pics as soon as we could after getting our wrist bands (that took waaaaaayyyyyyyy tooooooooooo llllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg). I'll post photos in sections, starting with the Rotunda. The hotel where the event took place is an old railroad station, end of the line. The rotunda was where they turned the engines around. The actor Fess Parker bought the abandoned building and turned it into the hotel. The Rotunda made for a great setting for these customs. In the morning the lighting was much better, and there was an addition to the display, a 58 Ranchero.
