ghalperin - Thanks for pics - looks more like a East Coast type of scene
Unfortunatly Mother Nature showed up.
I can see the track from my hotel and still looks the same...its a wash. Going to the campground soon but heard some guys saying it was particaly flooded too...

Thankyou so much for your coverage. A real a shame about the weather, but mother nature can be a real mother sometimes.

Only a few shots from the beach...too busy spectating. They did a great job keeping races going one after the other. Bummer about the rain, but the big problem was the tide coming in so high delaying the start. Later in the day the track smoothed out and guys could get in it a bit more.
It was a great time and tons of the type of old iron and people that like to use it and get it dirty.
Saturday was epic! I think it was the best gathering of proper hot rods I have ever seen in one place. New, old, historic. It was worth the trip just to watch everyone get their cars onto the beach. The rain never got hard enough to slow anything down, probably gave a few machines ignition issues. I was blown away by the amount of spectators. I only took a few pictures, I did take some videos with my phone but having issues downloading them so it may be a while before I can get them all on here. Sound problems too. Anyway I had a blast!
11:30 this morning, The starting line yesterday was just past the two sea gulls on the right about 100 ft.
I submit to the HAMB Calendar! Gawd, what a cool shot!
Thanks for pics
