Anyone cut down a windshield seal for a chopped shoebox? My guess is that you would want to trim on both sides of the center seal at the top of the windshield then trim the center seal and glue back together with super glue? 3-cuts?

    Thanks, Steve

I quit doing that, and have been putting chopped glass with windshield butyl ( in a ribbon like used in the 60's

Check Big A's build thread... does the hamb really need another shoebox thread? is the title. It is in there somewhere. Really good read on a really slick kustom too. Worth the time.

Steve use your best judgement, super glue works.

I cut the bottom, not the top, on my chevy. If it leaks in the rain it will drip on you if you splice at the top.
    Super glue does work well.
