Technical Trim I.D. help

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by milwscruffy, Aug 13, 2018.

  1. So I recently acquired a boat load of exterior trim for 1965- ??? Pontiac full size wagon and or full size 4 door parts. I can I.D. most , but these have me stumped. Seeing the guy that had this stuff was a Pontiac purist, I'll assume these are Pontiac piece's. If you have a guess or know, let me know. Probably going to get rid of the vast majority of the stuff ( 150 piece's or so ) and keep some for a slightly OT wagon project I'm doing. Thanks for any help. 102_0979.JPG 102_0980.JPG 102_0981.JPG 102_0980.JPG 102_0981.JPG

Kinda looks like sill plates, and some rocker moldings.

  4. Thinking rocker myself, but can't find anything on the net as far as images.

  5. Any Pontiac people on the late crew ?

? Bottom of door inside scuff plate.

  9. Nope, They are about 3/16th's thick and cast. Some too wide for that some too narrow. The guy that had them passed away and took the answer with him.

Did a 52 Studebaker that had some like that.

  11. Sounds like rocker or lower door trim pieces. Look up some pics of Bonneville Safaris.

  12. Thanks, I think this may well be it, I'll keep looking for different images of 65-67 models.
