Still love this car...tried to emulate it with my Falcon..I know blue oval, 50’s vs 60’s....but love how clean it is..the rims and tires...just a perfect bad ass street bruiser...

501 c/gasser Shake Rattle and Run has no strait axle but extreme ladder bar length that's some real history not all Gasser's were Strait axled, later it was changed to a strait axle then changed to better suspension again as it got faster thru the years. I love that car Famous Chi town 57 I also have to point out the fact a lot of gassers had white walls its just history pure and simple.
Shake, Rattle, and Run is STILL a wicked car 'till this day! Although, there's still a part of me that wishes it was still a Gasser!
I just posted in another thread not five minutes ago hoping to never see that turd again, and then you post this! Sorry but that thing is gross! At least the current version of the Shake Rattle & Run used the original body, not that pro-mod abortion. This one is much better.
The pic of the pro mod version was taken in '94 at the Grove. The early and mid '90s was ripe with pro mods and mountain motor pro stocks in then current body styles. With guys like Pat Musi and Tony Christian running insane killer engines in vintage bodies it was a natural thing for the Messino's to step up. The Mid West Pro Stock Association series was very kool to watch, also. As far as the current version goes, sure, it's kool for nostalgia freaks but people were freaking for the pro mod cars by guys like the Messino's and Bob Giertuga's '94 Lincoln Mk VIII. And how in the hell did they get "Shake" on the sidewalk on Solidarity Drive by the Planetarium?
