That wagon.......and that fairground scooter...
I forget what these were called in the day. There was more than one body style/version. I think the moderator Moriarity (sic) has one.

Tow it to the track Thursday...
There’s some fantastic old photos in this thread. I’m really diggin the old, grainy photos from the pits, the strip, etc. BUT...
Where’s the dislike button for this crap? What the hell is wrong members on here posting this garbage? I know the whole ‘gasser’ thing jumped the shark several years ago, and these pics confirm that. Really miss the HAMB from the days of yore. Dedication to preservation and paying tribute to an era, ie PERIOD CORRECT. Now it’s 10,000 jokers buying some ebay roach and opening up a speedway catalog. 70’s tunnel ram with bolt on carb scoop? Check. Pseudo fuel tank in the grille? Check. Hideous, period incorrect 10 spoke ‘gasser’ wheels on the front? Absolutely. Four wheel drive stance? Check. Some stupid ass name in huge letters on the side? Check.
White ones on EBay right now....
Had this 56 for awhile and it was a C gasser "No Brag Just Facts". Sold it to a friend that moved it to Port Huron and raced it. Then lost track. Steel tilt front end, straight axle from an Econoline..4 speed, Carter comp dual quads, Mallory ignition, rajah wires, fenderwell headers, towbar,
...old time fun.
