At The Grove
Sleeper look at those rear tires.
New acquisition. 350/700r dropped spindles, front disc's etc.
Please tell me this is truly a vintage photo and the car is not another new (re)creation.
Looks sharp, don't it??????......
No that one has been around at least from the 60's. There is some history around about it but I can't remember the name.
It's just that I remember those paint jobs from the latter '60s. Guys weren't
afraid of personalizing their cars. Some worked, some didn't, painters were
experimenting. This one is on the busy side, but put it up against 100 of new
builds with all the best equipment money can buy but with the dopey faux
patina and I'd make a beeline right for this one. Oh yeah, just my opinion.
Picked this up a few weeks back after many years of trying to get back into it, had a 55 for 16 years...... loading it for a paint job, bought it just like this, bodywork done all restored, rebuilt 235, just needs, paint, glass, interior and trim!
Doing a late 60's early 70's style tunnel rammed small block, 4 speed, cragar ss, front bumper delete!
Love it. Great color..Classy car. Not even any fuzzy dice.
Just a couple from tonight, pulled over behind Rural King and said ‘why not?’
Skirts or no skirts?
Well, seeing you had to ask...No visor either ;-)
