  1. The car as it sits today, my favorite, when was it done that way? As long as I can remember, it looked the way it does now. How about a time line? Thanks....Centurion9

The top left pic was the first scallop job
over the factory black paint job.
The car looked like the bottom 2 pics from
1962 to 1989 when I got the skirts out and
was trying to decide what to do as the candy
job was going away after 32 years.
In 1990 the car was completely gone thru and
has been that way to this day.

Get rid of that truck and that is an excellent photo.

  6. I love Time Travel! I liked the first version to be sure, but the present version is Iconic. I got in trouble here for saying that about Baileys Merc, but I'm a man of strong convictions. Whenever 1957 Chevy "Customs" are mentioned, there's only one. You own it. Thanks for being active on the Forum DJ. You're a Welcome addition. Centurion9

  8. Definitely not mine, but just a great picture I highjacked from some place of what appears to be a VERY pretty car!

I had this for my screen saver for a while.

Here is mine - sitting in the garage waiting for me to make up my mind to either rebuild the 327 wildly or put a huffer on it......... she looks about the same as she did back in '93 when I sold her.

Here are some before and after pics of the RodShop57. The car sat outside from the late 60's 'till the mid 80's and then it was put in the barn until I bought it from my uncle in 02.
