    It's a four bar suspension in the rear...To answer your question.

    The oil change door sticker from 1974 and the radiator repair tag defiantly put it in Richmond back in the 70’s. I’ll bet it is the same car. Can you tell me any more about it?

    what air cleaner is on this car and what carbs. i was told the bat wing repro want fit on the newer carbs.

    Picked up a nice 55 Gasser over Christmas, car has some Texas history, Its been a drag car for a lot of years.

    Great pix Chevyshubox. Did the '56 come right hand drive?
    I think something is wrong with your shocks or something because in all the photos it seems to be riding on the back wheels...

    I`ve had this one for over 25 years. Out of Oklahoma city area. Finally blew it apart and full resto 3 years ago. Not one speck of rust ever!

    On the drivers side.

    Yep the two green 56`s where Australian delivered Right hand drive and the Yellow 57 was also but it was converted to LHD for better weight transfer when racing.
    The red flamed 57 was also converted to RHD by a previous owner.

    What a mixture and sure is a lot of work if you where to do it all at once.
