A friend of mine bought a car in Waterloo, Iowa and needs it delivered to Angleton, Texas 77515. Any takers?? PM me with a quote, thanks! Rob
Thanks Right now I happen to be in .......... I actually had to check my food receipt to see where I am at, man that is so sad Anyway I am in Lasalle, IL and I just left Iowa today I stopped at the movie set for 'Field of Dreams' in Dyersville, IA Had to - I am hauling a 1963 VW 'Magic Bus' to Nashville, TN from California Jim
Man I was serious about checking the receipt Actually I am still at the restaurant on the internet ... Last two days I've been dodging hail, tornadoes, thunderstorms in Nebraska & Iowa Jim
I just dropped off a nice 48' Kenskill teardrop for a HAMBer in Boscobel, WI yesterday ..... I am on my way to drop off in Nashville - then over to pick up in South Carolina - then cross country to drop off in California Then pick up in Las Vegas for a run to Virginia Beach If your friend emails me I can put him on the schedule but the summer months are pretty busy Just click on my signature below - it will take you to our website
Just one bit of advice - wait for a good driver/company! There are a few good ones on the HAMB. Check out http://www.transportreviews.com/ for some terrible horror stories of brokers promising one thing and drivers doing something else, always something bad.
I know of a possible backhaul, so I'm subscribing to this thread. EDIT: would also remain right on Hwy 35/61.
My first recommendation is always BenD, and StevieG has hauled my '49 Ford back-n-forth Canada to Atlanta. Check the HAMB-O-Dex, there are a few others.
