Is the age part of the transmission issue settled? I'm planning on using a mid-60's Ford three speed. Any problems with that?
    Thanks.

I sure hope not, as Iam hoping to use a 66 plymouth 4 speed, out of a barracuda.

The '60's boxes are built to handle the torque. That's a good thing.
