Technical Transmission Shop Recommendation Lincoln, NE

Does anyone have any experience with any of the transmission shops in Lincoln, Nebraska? Looking for someone to troubleshoot and possibly rebuild a Turbo Hydramatic 400. Would like to find a reputable shop who does good transmission work. Any recommendations?

Couple of the places I called quoted me in the $1200-$1400 range for a stock rebuild (including remove/reinstall). Does that sound in the ballpark? I'm not up on pricing these days. Seems like it used to be a lot cheaper but maybe that's the going rate nowadays.

 

Have you checked Certified Transmissions in Lincoln? It's a very reputable shop on cornhusker highway

 

Took my turbo 400 to Omaha Transmatic in Bennington. A 24 hour turnaround. 6 years ago it was around 700 as a carry-in.

 

Thanks for the referrals, guys. Kinda want to stay in Lincoln. Any others?

 

For removal, rebuild, install - $1200-$1400 doesn't seem terrible these days. Three years ago, I paid $2000 for the same for my 2001 F150 2wd. (In Omaha)
