I have a 350 turbo that is having trouble with the shifting bolt, that is stripped, my question , is the shifter bolt easy to replace? It looks like it is right above the pan, but I dont know what it looks like from the inside, what has to come off, to take off the bolt, any ideas? Thanks

pull the pan, you'll find the nut and flat U shaped spring clip. It's not just a "bolt", it's a machined shaft. Make sure you get all the parts back in the right way when you put the new one in. And change the seal while you have the shaft out.

yep, drop the pan. Its pretty simple, drop the pan, pull the 1/2 bolt that holds locks the gear selector in each gear, pop the clip off the shifter shaft, remove the nut off the gear selector shaft with a 15mm wrench and slide it out.
