Tranny Experts, Can someone I.D. this top shift trans for me

    A friend of mine picked up this tranny and im having a hard time figuring out what its from?? 1930's? looks like maybe mounts on both sides for a parking brake for (left/right side drive)?? anyone have any ideas??

    1936-38 Packard. Second in line behind the Cad/LaSalle transmissions as the hot rodder's favorite for close gear ratios and strength. Many adapters were made to bolt them behind various engines years ago.

    Thank you sir! so i assume those threaded holes on the side is where it mounts then?
