Nice Going! I wish more people could find it in themselves, to help, when someone is in need.
I am really proud of the hot rod people like you, and I say thanks!

Good deeds are returned, sometime, when you need it!

God does work in mysterious ways. I was having trouble sleeping this morning, so I logged on the computer and went to the HAMB. This thread caught my attention right away. Thanks for sharing, doing the right thing and helping put my mind to rest. Whether you know it or not, you served God, by serving others. We need more guys like you in today's society. I'm going back to bed now - GOD'S BEEN GOOD! :)

  17. You guys are Heroes!! So many people wouldn't even stop. It is a good feeling when you are there to help someone and you will be rewarded later. Good job. I think I will get a first aid kit for my cars.
Thanks For What You Did. Mark

As an ICU RN I deal with the privacy laws every time I go to work...You can thank our government for this and the sad thing is that after recent rulings from higher up it is only going to get worse...Glad ya'll were able to lend a helping hand

I got word that the gentalman is doing fine.

  20. I'll always be grateful for a truck driver passing through northeast Georgia who stopped and got involved when he saw a little 4 year old girl walking by herself along a busy highway. He stopped, put her in the warm cab of his truck, got hold of a state trooper on his CB (this was 1978, no cell phones). Trooper called DFCS, and the little girl and her sisters, ages 2 and 11 months, were removed from the home. My wife and I were able to adopt those three girls in 1980, this Saturday is the 32nd anniversary of our adoption. Oldest daughter still remembers it, what she remembers most clearly is being frightened by the sound of the air brakes on that 18 wheeler. She kept the trucker's Cat Diesel Power cap that he gave her until it literally fell apart. Often wondered what might have happened if that truck driver had kept going.

What was the lady in, the sedan delivery or the daily driver?

  24. Heart warming for sure. One thing I've learned over the years is delays when travelling are sometimes life savers set up to put you in the right place at the right time. It's happened before and it happened again yesterday when the semi-truck a few car lengths ahead of me shed a tire. Thank God we wake up every day. (so far)

There was others that stopped and checked up too, all hotrodders.
