Those headers are cast iron Fenton’s from the mid-‘50’s.

I’m building a T Roadster pickup. Model A frame, deuce grille and a cut down 30s pickup bed. Shortening a F-100 tailgate. Planning a Duvall style windshield with a Carson top.

trktrdsr.jpg Here's a pic of my old track-T. It was a fun car. Think about moving the bulkhead behind the seat back a few inches inside the turtle deck for some more legroom.

I don't like seeing OT cars as backdrops on our sacred site. To help keep the HAMB safe and viewer friendly I am willing to purchase that flat window Z car in polluting your photo.

80s built car , with great history . Queitly going through it and getting on top of things . Gets to be a better car to drive with each weeks of tweaking and servicing on it.

IMG_3829.JPG IMG_3830.JPG Couple of weekends ago.
Still looks as we picked it up , but drives way better .

I’m presently putting my 26 RPU back together after paint and shiny stuff.
A touring cowl and doors and I built the rest including the bed and the chassis.
    Y block power.
Drum brakes on the front and different tires /wheels now too.

  18. Currently building a 27 (we think) touring car. 292 Chevy power, automatic, 37 or 38 banjo rear flipped so spring is in front, split wishbones and an undropped 32 heavy axle up front with round back spindles, wide 5s and buick finns. Going to go see about an original A frame next week, which changes up my chassis plan a bunch. Gonna use an A grille and hand build a hood and sides. And slam it...

Not the '26-7 body, but I'd go for the same vibe & follow the Aldrich roadster:

Can't get any more traditional than that. .

jim32.....Do you, or anyone else, have any other information or photos of the evil and sinister looking '27 roadster, black with tan top, tall wires and sitting on the salt that was in your post #27? The more I look at that photo, the more I love that car. Other views of the car would be awesome, even a larger photo, or who it belongs to would be even better.

    This one.....

Has the look that you'd expect someone who looks like this should be driving it.

Clayton's (MrModelT) roadster rules. It's influenced very heavily by the Aldrich car. Be sure to find & watch the video of him & the T with Jay Leno. Best of all, you get to see the car in action!

This is the best pic of my '26 that I have currently (RPU cab with earlier turtle deck), and a period picture of a very similar car, I'm putting the period of my car and the old picture in the very late 40's or early 50's.

I'm also a big fan of the Ed Iskenderian car. I know that one is an earlier body but no reason a 26/27 couldn't be built in a similar vein.
