True! She doesn’t look like that anymore! We don’t look like we did 40 yrs. ago either , hopefully better, probably worse.

If I'm reading the plate correctly, it says 1953.... not 40 years ago, 65. Although I had an aunt who still looked pretty darned good way into her 80's, not every girl does. Dang it.

 

I wasn't even born yet in 53! She could have been one of my mom's friends! I think my mom was in CA in 53, my sister was born there in 54. Don't think mom would have been dressed like that then, based on the pictures I've seen of her during that time frame, but then again......Gene

 

I used 40yrs.ago as a reference point,the greater majority of us are in our 70’s. In 1953 most of us would have been less than 10yrs. Old.
