And my garage, with my son doing some project. I forget what. Seems like every inch of space is taken up, but useful.

Edit: I remember now. He's making a holster for a girl's handgun. He's quite good at it, and made sixty bucks. Good for him.

Here I sit all broken hearted.
I tried to shed, but only hoarded.

When I see an amazing price.
I find some dough and fill my space!

Just hang shit that's neat to you up. Some pieces have neat stories to go with them, some just needed a place to go.

You know you have reached or are close to the proper level of "overstuffed" when your 9 year old grandson tours your garage and come to you with the most serious look on his face and says, "Grandpa, did you know you have nine engines in your garage?". I use a high tech filing system that has served me well for years. It is known as the "Open the door and throw it in system".

Step 1 don't try. Over time the look of your garage space will just evolve.

Do a Google image search for Nimrods garage. You will find the coolest garage ever!!! Might find a pic of a roadster much like yours as well.

  14. Put in an old wood burning stove (inop) and two recliners, old newspaper pic, hang some stuff from the ceiling, hide the garage door opener with a wooden box, old hanging lights, maybe a gas pump in the corner.....

Here's mine. I need more shelving. That'll come this winter. TV, music maker (old Fender guitar amp w/bluetooth attachment), tools, parts, cars n tractor stuff. And lots of wall hangings.

  20. I think you're going to want a dirt floor, spaces between the siding boards to let the cold air in, ONE light bulb, no outlets, barn doors, rodents , maybe an oxy- acetylene welding set up ( because traditionally that's how we welded) and a hand full of wrenches ,screwdrivers and pliers/ pipe wrenches. GOOD LUCK :):):) Mitch.

Just have to get a garage that looks like it's about ready to fall over, that's all.

Your garage is too traditional! I believe if I come over and take a roadster and a coupe outta there we'd both have perfect traditional garages! Joe

Start collecting old wood pallets. Take the boards off and nail them to the walls to cover the sheet rock. Use the heavy thick wood for firewood.

It's not hard- get a space ( garage), stuff to capacity, then spend all your spare time moving shit around and cursing yourself ( why the hell did I buy THAT?) Then build a cheap annex, fill that, then your basement.

All I see with a shop with stuff hung on the walls is "what a fire hazard"
