This is exactly what Hot Rodding is all about ! The best part was when you started the project, and all the people who said it woud'nt work,or tried to change everything you did, they sure shut up when it smoked the tires for a 1000 feet!!! lots of people have started projects like this ,but give it up when something do'nt just bolt together. Love the car Rocky, super job making a bunch of parts you had laying around into a bitchen car. see you at Riverdale! Chris

Hahaha, my friend is supposed to put the vid on YouTube. If that doesn't happen soon I guess I'll have to go out and do it again.................darn it:D

  23. You are an inspiration Rocky. You had a dream to have drags at Eagle Field, and made it happen. You had a dream to build and run a twin engined dragster, and you've done it. You have a dream to take your twin on tour, and you are going to do it. Many talk the talk, you walk the walk. Hats off to you my friend.

And yes, the twin looks like the type of cars I saw at Pomona, San Gabe, and LIONS in the late 50's. You got it right!

I wondered about that. Still certain about that u-joint?

I can't view the video either. How well does it run hi-gear?

Thanks for the timing information. I've wondered for several decades about multi-engine setups.

  26. I never get tired of looking through your threads, that car is full of badassery.
now the stupid question of the day, do i spy your throttle pedal on the left side? because of the drive line taking up real estate on the right?

The U-joint doesn't worry me and I had an idea running the power thru the 3 speed counter gear would be weak. When $$$$ allows I would like to take the Trans out and have a DD Shaft made. I'll get a video on utube soon and without cussing all I can say is it's a GD, BA, SOB to drive :D.
Yep, the center section is on my right. Thanks for the props Shaggy.

    Thank You Dean!
