  1. The later Tulips, like I see a few folks posting, just never blew my skirt.

  5. These are the wheels that were the epitome of a Real Hot Rod...

That and a pair of slicks... Very Cool!:cool::cool::cool:

Bigs and littles work with these other wheels as well but I like my TT's.

  7. What a great thread! I had been looking at so many options for wheels for my 62 Unibody and recently decided on 8.5X15 and 7X15 TTO's and this thread pops up! They are supposed to be in tomorrow. Now I just have to decide on tire size and this thread really helps...Thanks OP!

  24. Id like to start a list with links for current vendors of torq thrust styled 5 spoke wheels.
Plenty of copies over the last 40 years , but some are still being currently produced and sold today.
I have stumbled across them but can't remember what they called them or where they were, or how I found them.

Of course AR but there's others a bit harder to find.
I think this would be a good place to start the list, and then I'll move it to its own thread after it gets going.

Post them up and I'll move them here.
Should be quite helpful for anyone looking.
    Thanks.

  25. By "5-spoke" your opening up a big field but damn, radir's http://www.radirwheels.com/wheels.htm although nothing near an AR TT, are a damn good looking wheel currently produce that resembles the flat-spoker of the past ... I love 'em

  27. Sorry about that,
since this is a TT thread, by 5 spoke I mean the copies of the AR TT. There have been plenty over the last 40+ years and I stumble across a few still being produced and sold today.
Them bullets are nice and available in skinny front runner ! Whoo-hooo.
I added your link and I'll clean that post up too.
    Thanks!

  29. That car is freakin' badass!!!!
To me, a set of Torq-Thrusts with the natural finish on the spokes wrapped in redlines is perfection.

Now, my brain is spinning to finish my sidewall cutting machine and cut my BFGs for some 1/2" redlines................
