Who has the best manuals out there with info on rebuilding early Ford toploader transmissions and Ford banjo rears? I found a book from Vanpelt on the trans, all though i have not seen it first hand. Thanks!
I have the Van Pelt book on 3 speeds that I recently purchased. It is well worth it if you are planning to rebuild one yourself. I also have the Vern Tardel book on Ford 3 speeds, its good as well but the Van Pelt book goes into A LOT more detail. There is also a terrific thread on rebuilding Banjo rears on The HAMB somewhere but I can't find the link right now.
