Raymond Lowey was also responsible for the "Aerodynamic" Hupmobiles, which along with the post-war Studebakers are among my favorites.

    1. 1941 Lincoln Zephyr 3 Window
    2. 1932 Ford
    3. 1932 Chevrolet
    4. 1939 Chrysler Airflow
    5. 1955 Chevrolet

Consider each for their pioneering engineering designs, although Chevrolet did have a V8 1914 to 1917 and almost had one--Zephyrs are just nice.
32 Ford "The Flathead", 1932 Chevy just sharp, Chrysler airflow similar to Zephry being unibody and really ahead of its time, and of course the Hot one 1955 Chevrolet.

Its really hard to pic sucha small list, and I am sure next week I would pick a different 5.

  11. I must be wierd, cause I start thinking of the model/year cars I like. Then specific cars of people I know come into thought and blow it all to pieces.... so, I'll try this out, but sorry most of you won't know the specific car...

    67/68 Chevy Shortbox Fleetside Pickups
66/67 Nova/Chevy II's (Randy at R&D Chassis Orange Race Car)
60/61 Impala bubbletop (it's a local guys copper color BBC pro-touring type car)
59/60 Vette's (A Black '59 Vette a friend Drag Raced from McKinney Texas)
30-34 Ford Roadster (any done right are cool)

Not necessarily the most elegant or expensive cars you can find, but they flip my switch. Five isn't enough!

1912 Model T Ford---a classic look with lots of brass.
    1932 Ford woody
1928-1940 Ford Coupes, any one will do, thank you very much!
1932 Chevy Roadster (my Dad had one in the '40's)
    Ford GT-40
    one more bonus car---1955 Thunderbird.
