they are fender rollers, of days past. They were used in the body business for accidents, instead of replacing or bondo. Do you want to sell them? Thom
Yeah, if you would like to sell them in interested as well. They are a nice piece of history thats for sure.
thank you for the wonderfull help, and esspecially the link.awsome that the same ones are pictured in a thread over there..... http://allshops.org/cgi-bin/community/cforums.cgi?postid=10740613151108&threadid=10740613151108&forumid=107406085332483&action=messages& i dont think they are for sale at the moment, but ill let you know if that changes. eric
Eric, How wide is the C clamp part of the greaser? Looks like it may be a leaf spring greaser, spreads the leaves to allow you to force grease between the leaves. The two pin "bayonet" style grease fittings were out of date by 1928.
.............. Here is one on ebay ... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-GA...846874?hash=item21674a5a9a:g:TYQAAOSwx5Vd7oIq ....... Look's pretty nice ...
Funny, when @The37Kid last responded to this thread I could have just picked up the car phone in the new Oldsmobile, rang up my Lehman Brothers broker, sold off a bit of my Enron shares, had it deposited over at Countrywide, bought them tools and had enough cash left over to swing by Blockbusters on the way home and rent a video for the wife and maybe Toys R Us to grab something for the kiddies. The more things change the more information I own that doesn't apply anymore.
Trivia Tip: You can do that at the last Woolworth lunch counter in Bakersfield, Ca. The store it self is an Antique mall. I spotted, and later bought Model A Ford parts while having a fine burger & fries. Bob
