Always enjoy your builds , still stealing some of your ideas
from the 55's for mine, clean , simple, to the point,
keep up the good work ! ! You guys need to make another
road trip to the H.A.M.B. or the Meltdown Drags !!

  4. Made some more progress......

  5. The front shock mounts I put on Tony's pick up have a lot of soul/history. Royalshifter gave them to me a few years ago, they were left over from the Texiera Willys gasser restoration.

I am done with my part and delivered the truck to Tony on Sunday. He took me for a ride in his Sedan with the 6.71 blown, stroked small block Ford and let me tell you that thing runs REAL GOOD! Really plants you in the seat and the blower whine at high rpm's is a truly beautiful sound, dumb ass me didn't think to take a video with my phone.

  10. Nice work, and I agree you make it look like a simple process. I noticed the small bump out at bottom of firewall for a bit extra pedal clearance, those small cabs need all the help they can get.

Kevin does great work, he speaks gasser style very well and damn quick too, I will be updating this thread as I make progress but it won't be no where as fast as Kev , I just hope I can do this little truck and Kevin's work justice. Yep that's trailer-Ed's old sedan who built a cool ass car I've just made it faster !

Since Kevin brought the truck back I've drilled out the spot welds holding what was left of the 38 dash, and am fitting the 41 dash, I'm also needing a glove box door so if anyone has one for sale please let me know, hope these pics load

  20. Hey hotrodtodd, was wondering if you could take some good clean pic's so one can see how you are mounting the column and pedals. Also wondering what you are using for a steering box and how it mounts and hooks up to the axle and steering column. Thanks, I would appreciate the help here maybe I can use a simmuliar set up.

  21. Some good folks there, Kev and Tony. Great work Kev as usual, you have such a "get to it" approach and it's all done right. Appreciate you sharing.
Tony, this is gonna be great.
