Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thoughts and prayers to Tommy and his family.

 

Just spent a little time visiting with Tommy in the re-hab facility. He was doing some physical therapy. He looked good, seemed to be in good spirits. They haven't told him when he can expect to go home, but if he continues with his progress I would think it should be soon.

 

Next time you see him tell him he is in our thoughts. HRP

 

Thanks HRP. Will do that. I think Jalopyrama Mike and gmstuff took him copies of the first pages of this thread before he went back in the hospital for surgery. I know he appreciates everyones' thoughts and prayers. Hopefully he will be back on here soon.

lothiandon1940, thank you for the updates. Every time I log on to the HAMB, I think about Tommy, wondering how he's progressing, waiting to see that first new post of wisdom. Continuing to pray for his speedy recovery.

Update....Tommy is still residing in an assisted living facility on Maryland's Eastern Shore. He now has computer accessibility and is working with Ryan to get his account on here re-activated. He seems to be making good progress still and is doing some walking around the facility, outside when weather permits. He could still use our thoughts and prayers as he continues to recover. Hopefully he will be back on here soon dispensing his generous knowledge to all who seek his help.......Thanks again for everyone's kind words of encouragement. I know Tommy appreciates it...............................Don.

 

That's good to hear. Hope to see Larry at some shows this year.

I meant Tommy. I just used Scary Larry's name in vain just before reading this. Hey, I had a stroke too, things don't work the way they used to. Cut me some slack.
