Today is a very sad day as the automotive industry lost a Great man! Harold Coker passed early this morning from complications caused by a fall at his home yesterday evening.
Harold, as most of you probably know is the founder of Coker Tire established in 1958.
I was fortunate enough to know and work on many of Harold's projects. Harold always had a kind word to say when visiting us at the shop and always took time out to visit with each and everyone of us. I know, Things will never be quite the same at Honest Charley Garage and Coker Tire. We will miss you Harold! Rest in Peace Friend

I live with my 93yr old Dad.....I worry about this kind of thing everyday.....if you
have a relative or parent or even a good friend that is getting on in years, make
sure you drop by or call now and then...Take The Time.....Don't Put It Off
...THEY CAN BE GONE IN A HEART BEAT...when you least expect....

A great example of a true antique car enthusiast who made it easier for us to restore our cars.

My thoughts go to Coker Family in Tenn, and the extended Coker Family, world-wide.
