    Grumpy ...

I know where you are right now. Lost my Dad to cancer nearly 2 years ago, except that he was going on 63, not 93.

I took comfort in the fact that he was lucky enough to see me and my brother grow up into hard-working, debt-free men, and to see his grand-children.

Your mum nearly made it to 93 and probably had a great run of it. Remember the good times in her life, forget the last few months. Those memories are the ones you really don't want to have.

    hang in there mate.

  4. Grumpy...so sorry to hear about your loss....God Bless

  5. Very sorry to hear about your mother's death, thankful for her good long life and the close bond you had with her. I lost my mother in 2008 at age 86 from a stroke she suffered 5 months before she died--the stroke was her first major illness, at 85 she got out and raked all of my leaves while I was at work.

Mothers and sons have a unique bond. I know how you feel as I lost mine on her 86th birthday 6 months ago. I had the honor of holding her hand as she slipped away. May yours rest in peace.

Losing your mother may be the hardest thing you will ever have to go through.
Be thankfull for the 93 years she was here and the time you had to spend with her.

If shes anything like my mother she is still keeping a watchful eye on you from above.
    Godspeed

So very sorry for the loss of your mother. Some things are harder than others to take and I'm sure for you this is very tuff. We all know that on the other side we will be in great hands, no worrys, no pain and no problems. My mom will be 97 in May so I am not looking forward to seeing her go. I believe this is a test run for all of us.
