Chops are cool but the way that car is done I wouldn't, it's perfect. If you do chop it I will never talk to you again!

I have removed the front 4 bar and added a hairpin. As for the rear I am planning on removing the 4 bar but I am not gonna do it till winter.

Chop, yes, but not that car. That car is sweet. Time to build another and chop the new car. I wouldn't do any thing to your car except drive the wheels off it!

  12. Leave her as is - looks great.

  13. super cool coupe. would be much cooler chopped!

Good looking traditional hotrod! At my age I don't bend very well, so a chopped car is really not an option. You might look down the road to being an old fart who still likes to drive a hotrod.

  16. My vote is NO chop for whatever it's worth...

  17. I like everything chopped:eek: But your A looks just right. I did chop my A sedan back in the day and I liked it better chopped but it was full fendered and I was going for a more hot rod look from a resto rod that I first built. FYI I took 4-1/2"'s out of her. Again Your coupe looks good as is. And that is saying something coming from me.

That's a very cool model A as is but there's nothing that compares to riding around in a chopped model A.. I'll never own an unchopped "A" again...

  22. Leave it like that,I've had several chopped cars over the years but now I prefer to leave the top the way Henry built them. HRP

I agree that the 4 bar set up is too" street rod" I had 40 radius rods on the 30 coupe I sold last summer. If you are tall then stock height may be good I am 6"5" and I was planning a 2 1/2-3" max chop but that was in my opinion just enough. I also like the look of rolled side pans to hide the offset of the sock A frame to the outside edge of the body. Just one man's opinion The car does look nice as is.

  26. No on the chop, But if you are going to drive the car a lot, The 4 bar works very well, better steering, control, and ride. If that's what you are after!

  27. A 4" chop would be perfect.
