To all veterans, Thank you. Add to these, the mothers, fathers, wifes, and family, left behind, for they too are veterans, war does not discriminate..
Thank you to all of those who have served and continue to serve this nation. We are forever in debt to those who have fought to keep America free and safe and to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom....since the days of our independence. My many thanks...
Steve: My only contribution was to serve honorably. You not only served, but you fought for our freedom. THANKYOU. Stu
Stu D Baker, don't diminish your service. I like it better when our men and women do NOT get called to combat. You stood ready. Combat or peacetime, the words "thank you" seem so inadequate to express the gratitude I feel to all servicepeople, past and present.
Thank you for all of your service and sacrifice. You all helped make me a better man. Elwood USN 2002-2008
Saw on the news this morning that there are an estimated 22 million living veterans. Made me feel good to be part of that number. Thanks to all the other Vets too, its part of being an American I think. OahuEli USN '74-'78
USN 70-92 Been given a ration of crap because a I did'nt serve incountry. I told them, yeh but you guys sure liked the airplanes we sent when you wanted them! It took all of us to get the job done. Thanks to all.
Thanks Vets. I never made it to 'Nam, spent my time@ BAMC, helping care for the guys that medivaced back. Hope ya'll are doing OK today. Thank you for your sacrifice and courage. You set a great example for today's youth now serving in the Mideast. Take care and come home whole. Remember those who didn't.
Thank you to all the Veterans and people still serving today for all that you have done and are still doing. The local paper had a write up on my Grandfather today. I called him and told him Happy veterans day and told him it was in the paper and he was happy as could be, it really made his day! http://www.mariettatimes.com/page/c...s-as-if-they-happened-yesterday.html?nav=5002
Stu, you might find this hard to believe but I found peacetime service a lot harder to deal with. For me there was a lack of purpose and a lot more everyday bull to deal with. My hat is off to anyone that can put up with that. I couldn't which is why I left after 4 years, the last couple years were hell. Thank you for your service it was needed and you had signed that "Blank Check" for freedom, luckily no withdrawal was needed at the time.
It was an Honor to Serve !!! I would like to say to all Vietnam Veterans, Welcome Home, Thank You for Your Service and to my brothers in arms I give this salute ; We few, we chosen few ...
You are all my heroes every vet, young, old and those who gave all. Thank You!!!... for making this a great nation.
Thanks to all my fellow vets - those who went before me and those who followed after and those who served with me. US Army Sep 67 - Apr 70 Vietnam service Apr 68 - Apr 70
