Yes. I think they would be a good choice for your T. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=429453&highlight=70+15+27+roadster These are 570x15s in that link.
Yes, for sure. That combination is quite common. It is a good thing. I looked at your 'T' in your album. Looks like you are having fun with it. Do you have a fork lift machine to move it around on that pallet?
Hi Mika Love you guys in Europe doing it right. 6.70 x 15 are the smallest I would use. 7.10 or 8.20 maybe but that's just me. My roadster Has 8.20 rear and 5.50 X15 front. See avatar Gary
hello . i am sorry not know to use the hambs . but as i said i'm speaking english ...... if i incrit hambs on it to find information on the hot rod . i can also give a tour of my information on other things like french cars ! by example . hello thank you ... but if i called the bother me ??? ..... if not what to think 6.70/15 rear month on my ford t 27 roadster ?
Nothing wrong with 6.70's, though I think I would use a larger size on the rear, maybe 8.20's for a more traditional big/little look. I would note that, if you are used to radial tires on your daily driver, remember that bias ply tires give very different handling characteristics. Of course, you can get radials in the old sizes from Coker Tire and other sources. One point at which I would sacrifice a little bit of the traditional look in the interest of handling and safety--I'd put radials on it if I planned to drive it a lot. No point in building it unless you're going to drive it.
aaaaaaaaaaa..............I think those american opals were made in Europe, weren't they?--ya know germany, FRANCE,etc. Back on topic -- I think those size tires would look fine.....but what do I know--I'm a FNG
Why don't we just be civil and be nice? Let's try to help someone that is from a place where it is much harder to be a Hot Rodder than in the US. Just step away from the keyboard and cool off. Put yourself in his shoes and see what this is like for him not speaking or reading English very well. Encourage him to be a part of the HAMB. You should stick around too, the HAMB just doesn't need the attitude and hostility, we are all here for fun! And if ANYONE followed the rules on here there would be about 90% less threads and posts. You know what they say about rules! And your Opel gasser is cool. It's funny because it is identical (even the color) to the one my wife was driving the night I met her in 1971! We had a lot of fun in that car!
