I posted a vintage track nose some time ago and it reminded me of this racer above...is the "B" in the grille a connecting factor to the Driver or a Club?

    Just curious...

Regardless these are both seriously cool...

  4. The 27 T roadster in the black & white photo is part of the early So-Cal Speed Shop team and was driven by Bill Barker, hence the B in the grille.

That is a possibility as back in those days there was global trade and movement of goods so that fella may have come over and brought his toy...as the other cars look American...but even that may be American...a giant these are fun looking rides...

This is the style I want to build from my pile of teens early twenties parts. There's enough to build one now.

Maybe but I'm thinking not but I think that there is a nameplate on the hood of the car that may help identify it was on a blog but had no clues as to origin and content...

Thanks Joe you are correct...while I have not found that specific model that louver pattern is very distinct...interesting that it's in what seams to be North America...at least going by the cars in the background...this no doubt added influence to the evolving car scene as it has the look in my opinion...Thanks again Joe...and @ratamahata was correct by region...

  27. Oh Lancia!! I was looking with no luck trying with many brands... But didn't remember the name... Thanks guys...

qr16_r158_006_bg_17.jpg Here you go. I didnt notice rear doors on the one in the pic so its probably the short chassis torpedo.
