And they got the front wheels right this time. There is more to that than you'd think when channeling a full fendered A.

Yes sir...there was another I posted with a similar artistic endeavor making your eyes go a little funny...:D...It is what it is raw real period history...glad it was captured.

Painted, ground if you wanted them and couldn't afford them or felt like Picasso there were other ways...This video it almost looks like someone had a www painting service back in the day...

After review of images the film quality is likely to blame for my assuming of
non authentic www but enjoy the priceless footage regardless...;)

At 2:10 there an older roadster/coupster
and there are plenty of other later model goodies...

The whitewalls on that roadster could very well be port-a-walls. The other wide whites are probably just that, factory wide whites especially on the 60 Impala. If you had the money for that car you wouldn't have cheaped out and painted them on or used port-a-walls

Thanks Phat after reviewing photos they look real it seems film quality may very well be responsible for my error in judgement...there was also that option available you are correct and Hey they still are...

The pics I will say are very grainy making conclusions debatable no doubt about it...

It looks like the Johnson/Geres/Cahill roadster. The period pic is the car as Cahill modified it. I've wanted it since I saw it in one of Al Drake's books. If it is the JHC Fiat, time certainly hasn't been kind. And a real pity that it lost its Kinmonts:

Wow SR this is why this place is so awesome. I do believe these are both the same Hotrod...no question. That fendered shot is just so right to me. It was auctioned off it seems for very low dollars perhaps. Hopefully someone here knows about its destiny and its a happy ending. The Kinmonts are reproduced and can be had for major dollars original. It would be a shame to not see it put back as those photos show it had all the right stuff. Thank You so much for pulling this post up a major notch....

Quoted from Story at link below...
With a lengthy 9 day auction, this hot rod has been bid up to $1,050

I have read the comments below the story...I dunno hope its the real deal and gets a resurrection...

I got really good at putting on porta-walls in the mid 60s when skinny whites walls became the thing. Either turning the the wide whites inside or painting them black an covering them with porta-walls. Kinda like Cockers.

Hamber @Mark Jenny has been negotiating with limited success on a Mid 50's to Early 60's 33 Coupe. I have been trying to find pics of it as it did see mag coverage. So while looking I come across numerous vintage builds that fit the sorta different bill somewhat so I will share some of them. You know the ole saying pics or it didn't happen...so enjoy...

While I haven't found it yet I sure have seen some wild stuff...

Note; This Hotrod cover with additional information was posted by Hamber @Robert J. Palmer...My apologies for the redundancy...;)
