I remember when this thread started and i was thinkin.
Yea, another excuse to post ugly and offtopic hotrods.
There are some of that but most are just great hotrods with its own twist.
Stogy, You sure are great to provide great pictures on photothreads.

Thanks @AndersF for your compliment and enjoying my contributions to @onekoolkat1950's thread. You and all the others also make it complete with your contributions.

I really enjoy searching out relevant stuff and have a deep appreciation for the Hamb and its people. There is much more to know, find, share and enjoy.

Yes it has been so far a very interesting journey of old and new. Creativity in Hotrodding with period trimmings is still evolving and there will always be an open door to present it here for those that care and or are curious to enjoy. Have a great weekend.

The shots from back in the day are largely B&W and I believe it may have been quite a bit more visually spectacular back then than we imagine...This is of course a restored racer but perhaps the paint follows an original theme. Your right its a beauty...

Thats a really good question all write ups I have seen and even zooming in shed no light on that...someone may chime in to clear that up. They are nice looking tires as in they mimick a bias look.

There may be write ups in a Rodders Journal, Hotrod or otherwise and that usually gets mention. They may even have European connections. That said you may be right...;)

He lived in Chicago most of his life around Midget race cars and Hot Rods and a friend of the Greek. The racer is something he drives on the street. He has some stories.
