Are 195 75 15 size tires too small to run on a 51 Chevy truck ? Truck has gm clip with v)8. Running 205 35 now.

    Thanks

    That's a small tire. 7.5" wide and 26.5" wide.

Here are a couple pics of my 55 truck with 165/80/15's on a 15x 4.5 wheel. I don't have a problem with them.

I've been using 215R75X15 on our 49 PU with a 77 GMC front saddle for the last 10 years or so. Recently (Nov) I needed new tires, this will be the 3rd or 4th set (?) and it appears 205's are everywhere for reasonable $$$ but the 215's are twice as much if you can find them. I bit the bullet and bought the 215's as the 205's just looked too small in the non lowered truck.

Looks like 195 fronts 205 rear. Trying to get a lowered look. Not big -little coker or other. I know the brand thing has been beat to death. Love the look of biase tires but not the ride
