tire rotating bais ply's ????

My Dad says I cannot rotate my bais-ply tires without screwing them up. Is this correct???

 

No that is not true. Although bias plys do rotate differently from radials.

LF goes to RR LR goes to RF in an X pattern. It took a while to retrain all the old timers when radials came out but bias plys were routinely rotated in the 50s-60s by those that believed in maintenance.
