I have decided to remove this posting to help keep the peace...apparently bias look tires dont qualify so, done deal.

I got the answer to my question anyhow........thanks to everyone who posted.

I'd say the "bias look" looks better, but the difference is not great. How dos the ride & handling compare? Traction? TA's are pretty good performers, not the best as the design is aged, but they still perform very well.

I think they main question is how does it perform? It looks good both ways, I would go with what makes you, as a driver, happy. Great looking car!

Nice car. Not a big difference in looks though. 90% of people looking at it won't know the difference.

Looks slightly better.....not $1,000.00 better, though. Hope they run true at 80MPH.

  19. I mostly run radio (SIC) tires on everything. I like the bias ply look on a highboy, but don't really care as much as others do.

I like bias ply tires real well on mud trucks. LOL

    Both ain’t bad.
The radials look good from the side. From the back, not so much.
    The new ones have both

    What happened to the HAMB?

And did people miss that both sets are radials?

    I missed that part!
I was just thinking about how every car I've ever went from bias to radials, what a difference in handling.
To the O/P , since they are both radials, which handle better or about the same?

I don’t know why Coker don't make these American classic radials in 16” just 15” are made as far as I am aware . They as a nice looking radial . So if you want 750 X 16 you have to go to the coker classic nostalgia radial .

  24. Much better! I have a set of those tires on my 56 too and the look is WAY better than the normal radials that were on it.

I'm one of the 10% and thank the Rubber Gods for continually trying to mimic the Past as Vintage Tires belong on Vintage Hotrods and Customs...If I have to be subjected to Radials I certainly appreciate the Vintage Inspired ones...

    Looks good @Ron Brown
