Back in December I received a call from Worm at sling shot dragsters informing me I won a Stage 1 chassis from the drawing they did after the hot rod reunions. I was totally shocked! I've never won anything before. After 6 long months I finally picked it up in Bowling Green, KY at the Hot Rod Reunion this past weekend. I got it back home, 12 hours, and safe in the garage. Now, my buddy Bulletproof will be coming over tomorrow or Thursday to take measurements for the narrowed 9in rear end. Once I get that in, I can start lining everything up and moving forward with the project. I'm so excited to finally have my own car to run. It will probably still be 3 or more years before I'm able to actually race it but it will be a fun build in the meantime.
Killer! I bet their glad the winner(You) is gunna build it to a finished race car. So cool. Looks like it has a sweet home too!
Might just be the camera angle, but the rear end mounting possistion seems low and that foward crossmember might get in the way of the tranny pan. You will need 19" of space from the crossmember to the motorplate
Kinda mean considering all three of us on each others shoulders would have to work to top 15 feet! But your comment WAS funny!
