Two questions: will you need to put a roll-bar in for racing? I noticed your roadster doesn't have one. How much weight do you think you're saving going with aluminium instead of steel?
    Beautiful work on that body.

WOW, I was busy seriously studying the work on the chassis and then you spring the body on us. And a half hour ago I was really happy because I cut a piece of lumber straight.

x10. Seriously Rad. looking at the chassis, I was going " wow, thats a great little detail, nothing that's not needed, and wow look how that bracket is just what it needs to be" and them BAM! a full on body build from scratch. You sir are awesome. Cant wait to see the finished engine with 4 SU's. Are they all to face the same side or alternate? The throttle linkage photos should be glorious. Hell, the body build should have been a Tech Week entry. Double Hell, the whole thing should have been a Tech Week entry. "How to build a traditional hot rod at home"

Absolutely incredible. But I have to say if this is how you build a car that you are "not so protective about" when it comes to "trashing it or bouncing it off the steel crash barriers". I want to see your other car.

  20. Very nice! Yes you need a dedicated racecar! I love the way ya got the rear wheel off the ground! Way to lean on it Mate! (I said that with me British accent...)

    Mind blowing master craftsmanship.
Where was this during "tech week"? Would have been a slam dunk winner!

Pete is a very talented and humble guy.

He had a part fail at the drags (not made by him) and I welded it up for him. (because I wasn't too far from home). Imagine having to weld something for someone whose welding you admire??

I'm sure the part got him home but I think he redid it to his own standards after.

    Top work Pete,

    Mart.

FYI, the above blank quote means I'm speechless. VERY nice work!!

What's with the Oklahoma plate on the current car? Is the car registered in the US?
