Hot Rods Time frame for some old parts

    Probably the last thing I needed was another project but the deal was sweet and I really like what I got. I bought a fiberglass 1917 T body built by Frank Morawski way back when. It is on a custom chassis with an XKE rear suspension. It is a complete car that needs to be put together and driven. Here are some pics:

    I mentioned something about exhaust and Frank said " You got weed burners "
    this is what weed burners look like

    My question is when did weed burners come around ? Since all of frank's cool stuff comes from the west coast, I imagine one of you west coasters should be able to answer that question.

    I am not sure I can make this HAMB friendly but it sure is close
