http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-wiuiRV3Uc again, if its a repost .. sorry ? what the hell , someone explain ?
Holy shit, wtf... I think there was another post on this with pictures and a description, but damn...
Wow! Each one is worth about 50 bucks as scrap! Theres alot of cash laying there. If these are "abandoned" they are probably gone by now!
I am surprised no one else has said this, but at todays scrap prices, somebody could make a pile of money cleaning that place up.Damn, desertratrodder beat me by 1 minute
Holy shit! WTF? That is just nuts. I was thinking the same about the scrap prices, but damn... I wonder if there are some unique and rare trannys in there that are worth a small fortune. I wonder if a person could contact the owners and offer to clean it up just to haul all that stuff off?
Tranny Farming! If there planted a little further apart they'll get bigger. Maybe Aliens have been gathering them up to rebuild the mothership to get back home? Strange indeed
Wow. Are transmissions drought tolerant? I'd love to plant a trans farm in Oz, and then sell them for scrap when they're ripe.
Most people could retire with that money. If there are just 8000 in those two rows, thats $400,000... If there are more, well !! We used to scrap out about 80-90 trannys and get about $5,000. That was after pulling off the bell housings and tailshafts and cleaning them for the aluminum, which got us even more.
Its real simple if you have one of anything such as a transmission its just a tranny. If you have two or more it is a collection. It is quite obvious that whoever stashed them is one hell of a collectorOldWolf
That was too cool, thanks for posting. I was waiting for somebody with a shotgun to run them out of there!
