Didnt see one on the go yet, so I'll start her off this week. Havent had too much time on my hands lately so I added a background to a marker/photoshop rendering I did a couple weeks ago. Open the new window in full and click on the pic for best quality.

I Photographed some old art work this week to save to disc.. Mostly concept drawings.. some get built, some don't. But I get paid either way!!:D

These are photos of copies.. so the color is kinda "dead" in some of them.. but you get the idea.

Well.. This was when it was the "Dynaslider" built for drifting,,, but the owner "lost sight", put a "european" look to it and now calls it the "Dynaspider"....

Some of you might have a few of these stickers from STREAMLINE HOTRODS... If not, visit them at a show and get them... These took some time!

...and they make great desktop wallpapers!

my BRAIN IS NUMB when I get through one of these..

I did this for R&C a while ago.. I wasn't to happy with it.. Only had a day to do it...

I have to laugh when I get phone calls from Bikers wanting me to "come look at there bike to see IF I CAN FLAME IT!" I've flamed everthing that will sit still.. including airplains. This one is owned by the OWNER of LACARA STEERING WHEELS!! (Great guy!!)

Look close and you can see that I striped up the tail fin as well!

Does bike painting count as art????:) First time shooting ghost flames with pearl.
Did 2 tone red pearl flames with silver pearl flames inter-twined over the top.....looks really cool in direct sunlight, as the red "flips" from purple to maroon....:D

Great looking stuff as always guys!

I do the "Car show Logo" for a local show called "PUMPKIN RUN NATIONALS" It was the first T-shirt art I was ever hired to do when I was in highschool.. They have came a long way. Here are a few of the last couple years.

This is a good example of "To many Chiefs, and not enough Indians" The Car club that puts this show on VOTES on the art work and if it needs changed.. Well, all it takes is one Jack ass to want his opinion to matter. The exact words were.. "I dont think there should be two PRO STREET cars on the shirt" Well... There GASSERS.. FAMOUS ONES AT THAT!! But, Ya just charge them for the change and go on.. I'm sure that lil' "Helper" told everyone at the show that he "Designed" the shirts:D (This might sound like a rant unless your an artist for hire.. If you are, I bet money your smiling and noding your head!!)

When they asked me to change it I did one better and put my buddy Matt Renolds, AKA "JEFF's" car on it..

Everybodys art looks great as usual.

Always love your colors Tingler. You can probably tell why with some of the crazy colors I use. Finished this yesterday driven to get something done for the art show. I'm going to make some changes to the edge behind the driver now that I look at it. Or just leave it...

Corngrower those B&W engines are great ! that 327 is the perfect motor !

  17. This week I've been working on some molds,so I can cast Pewter.

Cut apart an earlier design, and reworked it to make a model.
The box around it is to hold the Silicone.

Mix the Silicone, and clamp while it sets up.

A little trimming, and we have the front of the mold.
Looks like Irish Spring soap, but it's a high temperature Silicone.

Then basically repeat the process to make the back half of the mold.
Now I just need to cut some vents and runners, and try pouring the Pewter.

  18. Wow! Great stuffs Corngrower!
    Tingler,... dig the wolf.
    LowCab, you never dissappoint.
Janne, it's been a while, I love the Plymouth.

No time to spare so here's a couple quickies...

    Tonight tonight the highway's bright
Out of our way mister you best keep
`Cause summer's here and the time is right
For goin' racin' in the street...

I wish Springsteen wrote more car songs.
The guy has a real way of painting a vivid mental image.

That's what I tried to bring to life here.

    Smiling...no... Laffing...YES...!!!

I do prolly 30-40 shirt designs a year...my rule is: "ONE change...I'm the artist and that's what you hired me for... I'm sure I know what looks best." Ultimately, someone will do exactly what you said. ROFLMAO...!!!

well, I'm recovering from foot surgery, and as promised, I did do a painting. I am internally committed to do a series of three, the second one is in the works right now.
I mostly paint my experiences with cars, but I'm working up to one day doing a painting of one:). you guys do truly amazing, inspiring work.
this painting is of one of my favorite things to do. Get up on a weekday morning, head off to some unmentionable, isolated mountain roads with a vintage road racer, and hear the roar of the side pipes, bouncing off the canyon walls. (anyone remember the Rush song "Red Barchetta"?)
